Babs Montalban predicted that she would be the person who plays music on the radio when she was seven years old. Her fearless forecast did come true when she worked for two major radio stations as newscaster and broadcaster. A degree in Mass Communications helped along the way as she also worked in their family’s film production outfit and later on marketing work in animation. In 2004, she was diagnosed with SLE, a rare autoimmune condition that has also spawned other physical and mental health issues. While the condition has impacted her life, it is not the only thing that defines her. More than anything, it is her positive spirit, distilled by challenges that has made her radiate a rare luminosity that makes us see ourselves and the world more clearly and gently.
