In Psalm 27, King David expressed his one desire, which he purposed to seek after  - namely to dwell (abide) in the house (Presence) of the Lord all the days of his life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire (to search, or seek diligently, namely, to know the mind and will of God and his own duty) in His temple.

Let this also be our desire and our pursuit!
