It's not about predicting every detail of the timeline—it's about faithfulness right now. Are we loving God with everything we've got? Are we making disciples and caring for the needy?

Daniel was told to "go your way till the end" and promised his place in God's kingdom. That same promise is available to us. The question is: what are we doing with what God has given us? When Christ returns, will we hear "well done, good and faithful servant"?

Keep serving. Keep loving. Keep occupying until He comes.

The book of Lamentations shows us one of Israel's greatest prophets, Jeremiah, weeping over Jerusalem's destruction—losing his poetic structure by the final chapter because the pain was simply too much.

Here's the powerful truth: it's okay to not be okay. It's okay to tell God when you're angry, confused, or devastated. Jeremiah held nothing back, and right in the center of his grief, he found hope: "Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. When life shatters your composure, don't hide behind religious language. Pour out your real heart to God. He already knows what you're feeling. The question is: will you be honest enough to let Him meet you there? Like Jeremiah, we can pray, "Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored."

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. Period.

In 2 Kings 7, four lepers discovered an abandoned enemy camp—not because of Israel's military might, but because God caused the Syrian army to flee in terror. The prophet Elisha had promised the famine would end, and it did. Exactly as God said. Good food at low prices flooded the starving city overnight.

But here's the sobering truth: one officer saw the miracle with his own eyes yet never tasted it. He died trampled at the gate because he rejected God's promise despite overwhelming evidence. Some people will always find an excuse to reject God, no matter what they witness.

The question for us: Will we "go and see" like those who sought God's promise? Or will we reject the evidence for the excuse? The cross is real. The resurrection happened. Salvation is offered freely. Don't just believe THAT it's true—believe IN it. Put your faith in Jesus and receive the new life He offers.

We explored the powerful truth that Jesus Himself affirmed the 39-book Old Testament canon, holding the Pharisees accountable to "what is written." The early church fathers like Augustine and John Chrysostom taught that Scripture is our ultimate standard, not human tradition or institutional authority.

Here's the remarkable part: we don't need a church hierarchy to tell us what Scripture is. The New Testament writers affirmed each other's writings as Scripture—Peter acknowledged Paul, Paul quoted Luke, and the direct disciples of Jesus gave us the foundation we can trust. What's written in God's Word is sufficient to equip us completely for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
