My guest today is my very good friend Mike Walker of Mike the Strongman. Mike is one of the sponsor's of the podcast and has been a huge help in getting it up and running. Mike has over 20 years experience in strength sports. Mike has a bachelor's degree in strength and conditioning and a master's degree in exercise physiology from the University of Akron. Mike is also the head coach of Team Sculpted where he coaches fitness and bikini athletes.

On today's episode we talked a lot about nutrition and training. With Mike's background in strength sports he has a ton of information to offer lifters of all skill levels. He has competed in Strongman, Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting and Body Building. He also coaches crossfitters in Olympic Weightlifting.

Mike is know around the Olympic Weightlifting world as the cookie monster. He can be easily spotted at meets because he is usually wearing a cookie monster hat. But to be honest it's usually not that hard to spot him because of his handle bar mustache. Mike has a love of both donuts and bacon. He has entered and won eating contests for both bacon and donuts.
