Rather than wring our hands, and retreat in worry, we can battle uncertainty with meaningful tasks.  These tasks can take on all shapes and sizes, but to be sure, they become critical in helping us to cope with doubt.  A story from my father, Lee Jolles, provides a wonderful backdrop to a simple solution to uncertain times.
