In this special solo episode of Uncharted, I'm reflecting on 21 lessons that have shaped me over the past year, from heartbreak and self-worth to entrepreneurship, discipline, faith, and embracing the unknown.
At 21, I'm still figuring out who I am and what I want my life to look like. I've experienced failure, taken risks, built businesses, moved states, met people who changed my perspective, and learned that some of life's hardest moments end up teaching us the most valuable lessons.
In this episode, I'm sharing the things I wish more people understood about growing up, building a business, navigating relationships, and creating a life that actually feels meaningful.
We'll talk about why failure isn't a reason to quit, why someone else's decision doesn't determine your worth, why you can't control everything, and why you shouldn't get so caught up building your future that you forget to enjoy your present.
If you're in your 20s, figuring things out, healing from something difficult, or trying to build a life you're proud of, this episode is for you.
My hope is that you walk away with a new perspective, a little more confidence, and the reminder that you don't have to have everything figured out to start building the life you want.
Welcome to Uncharted, where we learn to embrace the unknown.

If you're in your 20s and trying to figure out your career, faith, purpose, relationships, or what you actually want your life to look like, this conversation is for you.
Stop waiting until you're ready.

What if the life you want is on the other side of the decision you're afraid to make?
In this episode of Uncharted, I sit down with entrepreneur Luke Dobson to talk about taking risks, building an unstoppable mindset, and turning a vision into reality. Luke went from working at Trader Joe's making $16–$17 an hour to building a successful content and advertising business. He shares how he overcame depression, took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship, invested heavily in himself, and learned why taking action matters more than simply having the information.
We talk about the fear of failure, leaving the comfort of a 9–5, investing in mentorship, building valuable skills, and the importance of surrounding yourself with people who challenge you to grow.

In this episode of Uncharted, I sit down with Mayzie, Eddie, and Colby, the founders of EvoGen, a community built around young entrepreneurs who are actively building businesses while learning along the way.
We dive into some of the biggest mental battles young entrepreneurs face: being afraid to look foolish, overvaluing preparation, comparing yourself to people online, and feeling like you’re falling behind.
We talk about why action and exposure can teach you more than endlessly preparing, how social media can distort your perception of success, and why someone else’s timeline doesn’t determine your own. We also get into real estate investing, Airbnb rental arbitrage, building businesses young, failure, and the discomfort that comes with not knowing what happens next.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re behind, you’re not ready, or you don’t know what you’re doing yet, this conversation is a reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start.
You don’t need to know exactly where you’re going. You just have to be willing to move.

At 18, Jay dropped out of college, packed up his life in Vegas, and drove 23 hours to Florida in a beat-up manual with no cruise control. The car broke down, he almost went to jail in Texas for weed, and somehow that chaos turned into a path toward real estate and entrepreneurship.
In this episode, we talk about:
Moving across the country with no real plan
Getting pulled over in Texas and realizing how close he was to a 10-year sentence
Quitting weed, outgrowing old habits, and dealing with anxiety
Working 7 years as a valet and meeting the investors who changed his mindset
Why being a realtor isn’t glamorous – 100-hour weeks, no guaranteed paycheck, and paying to work
Partnering up to buy in Ohio, co‑living ideas, and trying to invest during a “scary” market
Faith, purpose, and taking big risks in your 20s before you have a family and bigger obligations
If you’re early in your real estate journey or just trying to figure out your path, this one will hit.
