Perfect Beach Read
Uncharted: Story for a Shipwright is a tasty, quick read that I devoured in three days while on vacation. The characters are believable and well developed, although Marlena remains a mystery until the story-within-the-story unfolds completely. If you're looking for historical fiction or sultry romance this one isn't for you; it is definitely rated PG and focused on the characters' personal development.
Atmospheric Page Turner
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and blasted through it on a stormy Sunday afternoon. The story within the story is as compelling as the slow burn of the enigmatic love story that unfolds throughout the book. I was guessing right until the end and entertained by the maritime adventures throughout the book. Who can resist a good shipwreck story - and this book has two. Clever, entertaining, and engrossing - a great read.

I really enjoyed the author's style of writing. It was a story within a story. A little dark at times but with a sweet love story and perfect setting.
