The Rhondda Working Man - a heroic figure. Tens of thousands of intelligent, characterful men spent their lives doing unimaginably tough, backbreaking work. My Uncle Len was typical of them - but he was complete one-off too. This is my affectionate tribute to him, and to all those who laboured like him.
