Mankind has a problem with evil. God doesn’t. Evil is always personal and personified which brings the problem home to us. We make evil a joke or horrendous, but both keep us away from understanding evil. Jesus runs with the Devil to give us a good understanding of how evil really is personal. Luke 4:1-15
