Text: 1 John 2:18-27

Today we come to the main reason why John wrote his letter to the church. It appears some people had got some wrong ideas about Jesus and had left the church, so John firmly and pastorally exposes the thinking of those who left and calls the remaining church to remember who they are by reminding them what they have already heard. This morning, we’ll learn from John’s situation and see what it means for us today.
