Uncommon Power

1 Peter 2:9-11

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy."

Uncommon Power

Luke 24:49

"I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."

John 16:7

"But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go away. When I go away, I will send the Helper to you. If I do not go away, the Helper will not come."

John 14:16-17

"I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper to be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he lives with you and he will be in you."

To live an uncommon life you need an uncommon power.

John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

Galatians 5:16

"So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves."

Ephesians 1:13

"When you believed in Christ, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit."
