When we think of the love of God we have to have a understanding that it is unconditional

Wrote a song titled cross my heart 

And in that song he says Her love was unconditional and he knew from the start 

But when it comes to love the truth is we are a conditional type of people. We put conditions on everything 

I can love you unless 

You smoke or drink 

I can love you unless you vote a certain way 

I can love you unless it’s not going to benefit my cause or my life 

The fact is we are called to love people 

This chapter in 1 John 2:1-6

Is very clear 

If we sin we have a advocate which is Christ Jesus 

But it on down a little deeper not just our sins but the sins of the world 

Then a little deeper 

V 5-6 

Is where it get intense because it says 

Who keeps his word is the love God 

Not the one that knows it or can quote it but keeps his word 

And then it says that we should even walk as he walked 

Jesus didnt just talk a talk he walked it out 

Praying preaching ministring to people. 

Jesus is the perfect example set before us not behind us but before us.
