As we get ready to start our summer series “Red Letter Summer” (the red letters in the Bible are the actual words of Jesus), we had to start with Christ’s earthly mother, Mary, and her reaction to the voice of God when it came to her. He spoke to her through an angel; He will be speaking to us through His faithfully preserved Word. May we respond as Mary did – with reason, full expression of doubt, and total, unconditional surrender.
