On 12 August, the Barada Barna Aboriginal Corporation (BBAC), on behalf of the Barada Barna people, entered into a Native Title Project Agreement (Agreement) with BHP Mitsui Coal Pty Ltd (BMC) for South Walker Creek Mine in Central Queensland.
