“Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.” - George Bernard Shaw
Today I want to touch on a few ideas that this quote inspired. While in our bodies we meet reality in a threefold way. Which is to say that we can only think, feel, and sense the world around us. And based on our own individual faculties and capacities will perceive the world in our own unique way.
Our lives from the moment we are born until we die is spent reacting to external stimuli. As we react to these external stimuli, we develop certain patterns and habits of thinking, feeling, and sensing. As time goes on, we increasingly become more conditioned. People, if they don’t take their development into their own hands, will become set in their ways.
