Growing up did you ever feel like you saw yourself on screen (especially in animation)? Well, there's a new cartoon on PBS Kids that features Filipino stories written by Filipinos.
In today's episode, we spoke with Jalysa Leva, an animation director and creator of Jelly, Ben & Pogo, a cartoon series that stars three friends who help their neighbors and each other by identifying a problem and working together to find a solution. This all happens while also weaving in Filipino culture, including Tagalog, music, and of course, food. The show is aimed for younger children but can be enjoyed for those of all ages!
