Charlotte Higgins is the chief arts writer for the Guardian. She is the writer of Latin Love Lessons (2007), on the subject of the place of Ovid in contemporary life, It's All Greek to Me (2008), and most recently Under Another Sky: Journeys in Roman Britain (2013). She writes regularly on classical music.
