Leaving the Grand Chandlery behind them - snow thawing, hearts melted, warmed and delighted by the show - the circus comes to a crossroads. And many more crossroads still lie before them. For one show alone, however excellent, does not a grand tour the realms make.

In the aftermath of our first performance, we follow the rules of the game and plan four more anchoring shows for our tour. We daydream some places, invent some occasions, and idly wonder what things they might have in plenty and might hold dear. And then, tour planned, we choose where the circus will go next: springwards to wildflowers and gentle sunshine, or fallwards where brambles creep and tangle amidst ruined stone.
