My Favorite In The Series!

Ive listened to every audiobook in the Alexander Ranch series. This story is the fifth in the series and centers on Jordans brother Ethan. For me this book is the best in this fantastic series. When Sasha and Ethan team up with the rest of the Alexander gang to solve a mystery, sparks fly between the two. Sasha is every bit the independent woman just like Jordans prickly girlfriend Lela, but Ethan has watched the lessons learned the hard way by his brother and he is determined to avoid the pitfalls.

I enjoyed the banter between Ethan and Sasha and I got a kick out of how Ethan approached Sashas independent nature and diffusing her temper.

DC Cole narrates this audiobook which is 4 hours long and hes is one of my favorites. He does a wonderful job voicing all of the characters in this audiobook.

This spinoff to the Alexander Ranch series had me enthralled from the start. Listening to Marla Josephs books has a way of making me feel like coming home, the characters have become my family and I am invested in the story. This is Ethan and Sasha's turn. Sasha is Leyla's cousin and is put into a compromising position, landing her in with Leyla and Alexander Ranch Security! As we get to know her, we find out she too possesses some intuitive qualities, but will they be able to help out in the new case they have taken on? The slow burn romance between Ethan and Sasha is lustful and sexy. Their heat smolders just enough, giving in just when you don't think you can take it anymore. I love being able to check in with all the family, Leyla, Jordan, Logan and Grace..and we get to meet Nola, my favorite new character. DC Cole's voice given to Nola is perfect. They are all involved in this case of finding out who is harassing the teacher at school, and finding the truth out while protecting their client. I have to say, up until the very end, I didn't know who the culprit was, and that made the book all the better. I can't wait for the next one!

The choice of DC Cole to narrate this book is perfect. The inflection he is able to instill in his voices with the emotions and fear creates the mood.
