On this weekly episode, sacrifice is this: “To forfeit something for something else considered to have a greater value.”. Sacrifice does not mean giving up something for nothing; it means giving up one thing for something else we believe is worth more. We sacrifice in every area of life: work, home, family, relationship. We sacrifice time, money, effort, energy. You cannot get something you want, without giving up something in return. In order to attain something you believe is of greater value, you must give up something that is of great value unto you. Are you willing to sacrifice with a pure heart? Declutter Your Life. Declutter Your Mind. I am reading The Stoic Minimalist by Jacob Martin and one of the first lessons speaks about decluttering your personal space. Let us be honest we all own a lot of shit we don't need and don't use. Our emotional attachment to items makes them very difficult to let go of. Finally, we have to come to terms with the fact that we do not buy what we need, rather we often buy what we want. Epictetus said it best: “Wealth consists not in having great possessions, but in having few wants.” Have you ever scrolled for an hour without realizing what you're doing? Yeah, I have, too. Social media addiction is a behavioral addiction that is defined by being overly concerned about social media, driven by an uncontrollable urge to log on to or use social media, and devoting so much time and effort to social media that it impairs other important life areas. Come join me as we take a look Under The Armor.
