On this weekly episode, We all want to in control of our: life, relationship, and career. Here’s the benefit of being in control. We believe it is the most efficient way to live. However, whatever control we think we have is an illusion. 2020 has shown us that we are never actually in control; we only think we are. All we can really control is how we respond. Nothing else. There are benefits of giving up control. Compassionate communication is a skill I have yet to master. I am striving to thoughtful, compassionate in the way that I speak to others, choosing words that impart the perfect balance of empathy and assertiveness. The Indian philosopher J. Krishnamurti once remarked that observing without evaluating is the highest form of human intelligence. Lastly, we discuss Joy vs. Happiness part 1 Joy is an emotion. It’s a simple and light-hearted spark that transcends through your body and leaves feeling good vibrations. It carries no burden or expectations. Happiness also an emotion is usually accompanied by an attachment to an idea, a destination, or experience. As a result, it tends to weigh profoundly heavier on our subconscious.
