Under The Silver Lake: How Generation Z Has Become Aimless

Listen Later

If your idea of a counter-cultural film is one that not only pays tribute to the old cinematic traditions that the director clearly respects, but also leaves you saying WTF  the moment the screen fades out, then Under The Silver Lake is that kind of film. Much like Robert David Mitchell's It Follows, Under The Silver Lake embraces its cryptic nature and use it to illustrate how just as cryptic and as confused our modern culture has become, while equally pointing out the importance of keeping the past traditions that once gave modern culture a sense of direction. Hope you all enjoy this episode because it felt like a puzzle I'm still in the process of unraveling.
