Here's a recap of the 2007 comedy & family movie, Underdog! *Happy 15th anniversary*
Plot: After a lab accident gives him extraordinary powers, including the ability to speak, a canine (Jason Lee) declares himself the protector of Capitol City and, especially, of a fetching spaniel named Polly Purebred (Amy Adams). Underdog must save the day when evil scientist Simon Barsinister (Peter Dinklage) and his giant henchman (Patrick Warburton) hatch a plot to destroy Capitol City.
