Today's show features Underdog Picks for Friday July 12th, 2024 in Major League Baseball. I start out with the show slip, then move onto The Daily Do(n)g Squad - a Underdog Picks Flex play with three players to hit a homerun. 

Today’s Underdog picks feature two hitters and a pitcher

Starting with Trea Turner of the Philadelphia Phillies. I believe he will do well versus this Athletics pitching staff and starting left-handed pitcher Hogan Harris. Trea has been smoking hot since returning from injury. I do not think that stops versus the As. 

Next I target the best hitter on the Rangers in 2024… Josh Smith. He has moved to number three in the lineup and is hitting over .300 in the last month (.295 on the season). He is getting knocks more consistently than his higher paid teammates and earned the right to join the show slip here. 

Lastly I am backing an OG member of The Daily Dog show slips, Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson. Anderson has performed in game after game this season and he has a nice matchup versus the Mariners today. Seattle is the worst team in MLB versus lefties in batting average!
