Have you ever wanted to make changes in your life, and no matter how hard you try you keep falling into your old patterns of behaviour and don’t understand why? Well, there is something underneath it all. However, we rarely talk about it, because it’s simply too painful. Yes, are talking about SHAME.
In the first part of this interview with Kathy Wyber, personal and parent coach, founder of Mindset to Inspire, we talk about what shame is, where it begins, and how we can start exploring its effects in our lives with, what Kathy calls, ‘gentle curiosity’. Kathy also talks about the difference between guilt and shame, how being aware of our language and choice of words is key in the process of healing, and also about the power of bringing awareness to our emotions. This is pure gold when it comes to personal growth!!
This conversation is quite an eye opener, because unless we are willing to look within, we won’t be able to reclaim our inner power and, therefore, live our life to the fullest!
Enjoy this episode, and see you next week for the second part of this powerful interview!
