This week we’re chatting with Duane France, co-host of the Seeking the Military Suicide Solution Podcast, a limited series podcast talking to individuals looking to make a difference regarding the suicide epidemic in service members, veterans, and their families.  And this podcast is actually his second show and grew out of Headspace and Timing.

We discuss the broad range of causes for suicide among serving and retired military members, the misconceptions around what has led to this growing epidemic, and then how this podcast is also part of a partnership with the media organization Military Times and what it means to have another entity supporting your podcast efforts.  We also discuss the PREVENTS project from the US Department of Veterans Affairs

Moe about Duane, MA, MBA, LPC, he is the director of veteran services for the Family Care Center, a private mental health clinic in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also the executive director of the Colorado Veterans Health and Wellness Agency, a 501(c)3 nonprofit professionally affiliated with the Family Care Center.
