Today is WLR's Autism Awareness Day, and as a result, mothers Melissa Wall and Jennifer Roche joined Damien this morning (Thursday) on 'Déise Today' to speak about the reality of raising autistic children.

Melissa and Jennifer spoke about how proud they were to finally send their autistic children to school, but they also touch on the challenges they have faced in navigating severe behavioural changes.

From discussing common indicators of autism to sharing valuable insights about its complexities, this conversation is both enlightening and reassuring for parents facing similar journeys.
