Richard Capriola has been a mental health and addictions counselor for over two decades. He has been licensed in Illinois and Texas and recently retired as an addictions counselor at Menninger Clinic in Houston. While at Menninger he treated both adults and adolescents with substance use disorders. He is the author of a new book for parents, The Addicted Child: A Parent's Guide to Adolescent Substance Abuse.
