In this 4th installment of the Understanding EIGRP series, we consider EIGRP's Passive Interface option, which can allow an interface to participate in an EIGRP routing process (so that it's subnet can be advertised via EIGRP), while suppressing the sending of EIGRP Hello messages out of that interface.
