Hadith is the most influential and most misleading part of a Muslim's life. Early Muslims understood the difference between Muhammad the messenger and Muhammad the human. Equating any human to God is a sin. While there is value in hadith, many are fabricated to justify wars of empire, clergy control over the faithful and control over women. Hadith is where the salafi find support for their fundamentalism, misogyny and terror.
