I read an article recently about how and why we overreact. It was penned by Dr. Art Frenz, a wonderful clinical psychologist who practices in upstate New York. Dr. Frenz specializes in stress management, psychological fitness, self-calming skill and dealing with loss and grief.
As I have seen dozens upon dozens of reports of toilet paper to bleach, frozen pizzas to mushrooms, flying off the grocery store shelves, I wondered how you can tell if we are overreacting, reacting or underreacting. What is the difference? What pushes us to either extreme and what tools do we need to fully understand how we react to this current global crisis.
