When something like sight loss happens in a family, it forces the family members to become caregivers in different capacities. Around here, we call those people "sighted supporters." Basically, they are people whose lives are directly affected by sight loss. But, because of all the changes happening around them, they can suffer from something known as compassion fatigue. Today, we will take a look at compassion fatigue, learn what it is, what it might look like and ways to manage it accordingly.
