Mold has been a problem for a long time. The first documented remediation of mold can be found in the Bible, in the book of Leviticus chapter 14, verses 36-41. Molds are a type of Fungi that have always been on the planet.

The current problem with mold is that we desire for better heating and air conditioning and we want to make our home more energy conservative. So we have tightened our homes, and have changed the way they are constructed.
