God's good timing that on Reformation Sunday, we would look at a passage that highlights the hopelessness of man apart from the finished work of Jesus Christ. Pastor Mollenkopf notes how Paul wants us to know the power of Christ for those who believe, and one area in which that power is clearly seen is in bringing us from death to life. To fully appreciate our great salvation, we must come to terms with the gravity of our prior condition: dead in our trespasses and sins.
