This podcast originally aired in October of 2016. Two college students, who both agreed that I could use their first names: Camille & Leo discuss the concepts - popularly described as "police brutality" and the spark that led to "Black Lives Matter."
These students honestly explore their own experiences, research, fears and perceptions of police interactions, including the perspective of "good" police officers and "bad" policing.
The students discuss a couple of sensationalized cases of police brutality. They further describe their experience with the protests in Charlotte, North Carolina that occurred in the week(s) that led up to this interview.
