Welcome to the Show

Good day and welcome to this week’s episode of the Nursing Show podcast for nurses, by nurses. I’m your host Jamie Davis and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for checking out the show this week. First up, in this week’s nursing news items, we’ll look at what one Florida university is doing to expose the problems associated with nurse bullying in the workplace.

Then in this week’s special tip segment interview, I have an interview with psychologist Dr. Robin Goldstein. She comes on the show to talk with me about the challenges associated with Restless Legs Syndrome or RLS. It may have its biggest impact on patients when they sleep. Learn what you can do to discover more about this disorder later on in the show after the news.

If you want to get back in touch with me, please drop me an email. You can send those e-mails in to [email protected]. I love to hear from you and I make sure I respond back to every email that comes in. Send me links to news items you’d like me to cover, interview suggestions with you or somebody you know.

Also, I’ll be coming to San Francisco in the end of April to cover the American Nurse Informatics Association or ANIA. If your a nurse informaticist, consider attending this amazing event. Find our more at ANIA.org. That’s it. I will have more contact information coming up later on in this episode. Let’s get on in to this week’s news items coming right up!
