Focus: Last month, our next guest presented her report on Racism and the Right to Health to the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. One of the major takeaways from her speech is that racial and ethnic disparities in health outcomes are becoming more recognizable not only in national context. This is becoming more prevalent within the transnational context. As a result of this report, a new commission has been formed to tackle structural discrimination in global health and reduce the barrier to healthcare that communities face around the world.
