Domestic abuse (a more appropriate term than domestic violence) is much more than individual incidents of physical violence.  It includes chronic emotional abuse, controlling behaviours, threats and intimidation, isolation, extreme criticism, and possibly financial and sexual abuse.  In this episode of Real Success for Women, I will explain why these complex relationships make it so hard for women to tell their story in a legal setting.
