Barsky, a Senior Fellow for the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) often briefs media, law enforcement agencis and Jewish communities on the implications of terrorism and U.S. policy. She led the Division on Middle East and International Terrorism at the American Jewish Committee for fourteen years. She is also founder of the Secure Community Network focusing on homeland security for the Jewish community and served as its senior advisor and Middle East specialist for intelligence and analysis.
