INTRODUCTION
A spiritual fight touches so many levels for the believer. Fighting for sanity is a spiritual battle when you are enduring mental injuries such as depression, anxiety, and traumas. It is important to know that our spirit is primarily connected to our bodies, and our bodies are organically affected by our emotions and feelings. Most believers confuse the definition between a spirit and a ghost; each definition is completely different and opposite of its original meaning. However, we often call God’s spirit a “Ghost.”
The definition of a ghost equates to negativity and death, but a spirit means life! The Bible talks about the “spirit of God,” the “Spirit brings forth life,” and finally, “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty.” Each of these statements is true when searching for enlightenment regarding God’s love and purpose.
We must strive to maintain our hunger and thirst for life and not yield to the pitfalls of the enemy, who is determined to bring chaos and destruction into our lives. The enemy the Bible identifies is Satan or the Devil, the deceiver. As humankind, we have fought in this age-old battle since Adam and Eve’s defeat in the Garden of Eden. I say they were defeated because of the choices they made to believe and accepted the spirit of lucifer and his suggestions, thereby causing their disconnection from God.
This is still directly happening in each of our lives today. Lucifer/Satan has a mandate to Still, Kill, and Destroy to destinies of each of our spiritual and physical purposes while we live.
