Welcome to Undisciplined Education – a podcast that takes you to the heart of a global movement in transdisciplinary teaching and learning. Here you’ll meet change-makers who are experimenting with the future of education, breaking silos and inspiring students to explore the urgent challenges of our times that rarely sit neatly within disciplines, fields, industries or professions.
These are the people with the big questions about how and why we learn. They’re boundary spanners working to transform learning as we know it – across and beyond disciplines and the university, to embrace creativity and diverse ways of knowing.
My name is Lucy Allen-Kelley, a transdisciplinary educator and researcher from Transdisciplinary School at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia. Alongside my colleagues Alex Baumber, Susie Pratt, Bem Le Hunte, Giedre Kligyte and Dan Ferreira, we’re curious to learn from others leading transdisciplinary education around the world.
How on earth do they do it?
This podcast is for the curious – for anyone who feels they don't belong to one discipline, wants to contribute positively to the world and radically transform education.
Our first season of conversations is on its way, so follow the show on your preferred platform to get access to episodes when they’re released.
