In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking with Jade Huynh, an incredible origami artist. Jade has navigated through expectations and the challenges life brings as she has honed in on her passion of being an artist. As one of the female pioneers in the sport she is starting to work with other young women in Greece. She is using her experience in freestyle to navigate her future, taking from the lessons of all of her hard work and applying that to life.

Freestyle is one of the most humbling sports I have experienced. There is no other sport that teaches you about failure and success more than freestyle. Katerina has done such an amazing job wrapping her head around this concept that she will be able to use that in her future.

I am really excited to speak with Jen Short, the Manager and Coach of the U.S. Futsal Women’s National Team . We talk about how she got started in the sport and her adventures over the past six years developing the National Team.

I would also like to thank Roxy Kamal, with all of her efforts in things. Roxy is a also one of the Coaches on the U.S. Futsal Women’s National Team. Together, they are creating an amazing platform for women to represent their country and continue to play at a high level.

I enjoyed getting Jen's perspective on futsal, soccer, and youth sports in general in the U.S. She has great insight about where things are and how we may have lost sight of what we are trying to do.

In this episode I sit down with Megan, Sara, Kor, and Caroline and we talk about their experience of being part of the boxing community. They have all been a part of the Element Boxing Gym in St. Paul, MN and we talk about how boxing has affected their lives. This goes way beyond ring as we discuss the life lessons to be had.
