God chose an ordinary teenage girl, a confused but righteous carpenter, and a group of outcast shepherds to be at the center of the birth of Jesus, showing that He works through unexpected people in unexpected ways. Their humble trust, costly obedience, and joyful response invite us to believe that God can also use us, even when life does not go as we planned.
