The first episode of The Shadeism Series features V. T. Nayani (9'knee, she/her), a Toronto based Tamil filmmaker, artist, and producer. This episode explores her ground breaking documentarian work on shadeism and skin tone discrimination.  We discuss the humbling learnings that occurred along the way to shake our preconceived notions of shadeism, and how these ideals have transformed our very understanding of these projects.
