Hi, thanks for checking out Unfiltered Tips! In this months episode we were thrilled to be able to talk with Max Williamson all about the role of patient advocacy in research. It was great to get his insight on how we can better involve patients in all aspects of research - from choosing research questions to disseminating results.
We hope you take as much away from this conversation as we did! If so, why not share it with a friend or colleague!

Hi, thanks for checking out Unfiltered Tips!
This episode is the second of three episodes discussing the topic of diversity in research. In this episode we focused on the experiences of Disabled Researchers, some of the challenges they face regarding the physical and social inaccessibility of the research environment.
We wanted to do an episode on this topic as we feel it is under discussed, particularly among non-disabled researchers. And we wanted to educate ourselves in the process. If you have any comments, or you feel you have been mis-represented in anyway please do let us know. This was not our intention, and we are keen to keep learning. Our email: [email protected]

Please give them a read and educate yourself as well.
We hoped you enjoyed this episode and found it interesting! If you did, please share it with your friends.

Hi, thanks for checking out Unfiltered Tips! This episode is the first in a series of episodes we plan to do on diversity in research, starting with women. We hope that you enjoy the episode and find it informative. This episode is by no means all there is to say on the topic, but we aim to provide an overview of some of the issues surrounding women in science and start the conversation about what needs to change in order to keep women in academia.
