  • Pelvic Floor Health, Menopause and Moving with Confidence with Mish Wright

Pelvic-floor symptoms can feel embarrassing or isolating, but they are also conversations we need to be able to have openly.

Lisa is joined by fitness-industry educator Mish Wright for an honest and practical conversation about leaking, prolapse, pelvic pressure, menopause, bone health and continuing to move with confidence.

Mish shares how her own pelvic-floor experience led her to seek better information and eventually shaped the work she does today. Lisa and Mish explore why pelvic-floor symptoms can have different causes, why individual assessment matters and how people can build strength progressively rather than assuming that they need to begin by lifting extremely heavy weights.

They also discuss walking, body-weight exercise, bone health, stress, recovery and the value of finding movement that works with your body and circumstances.

This episode contains personal experience and general educational conversation only. It is not medical, physiotherapy or mental-health advice. Please seek individual guidance from an appropriately qualified healthcare or pelvic-health professional before beginning or changing an exercise or treatment plan.

  • Breathwork, Stress and the Busy Mind with Peta Pearl

What does breathwork actually involve—and why can something as familiar as breathing create such a noticeable experience?

Lisa is joined by breathwork and Reiki practitioner Peta Pearl for an honest and accessible conversation about breathwork, meditation, stress, sleep and the challenge of slowing down a busy mind.

Lisa shares her experience of becoming emotional during her first breathwork session, while Peta explains the differences between gentle and more intensive practices. They also discuss creating a pause before reacting, preparing for rest and why breathwork may feel more approachable than silent meditation for some people.

The episode concludes with a short guided breathing practice that listeners can return to while safely seated or lying somewhere comfortable.

This conversation and guided practice provide general education only and are not medical or mental-health advice. Never practise while driving. Stop if you feel dizzy or unwell and seek appropriately qualified guidance if you are unsure whether breathwork is suitable for you.

  • What Happens After the Inspiration Fades? with Tash Gosper

Inspiration can feel powerful in the moment—but what happens when you return to everyday life?

After coming home from two extraordinary days in Sydney with pages of ideas, Lisa began thinking about what it really takes to turn inspiration into meaningful action.

In this episode of UNFILTERED WITH LISA, Lisa is joined by registered counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist and master coach Tash Gosper for an honest conversation about applying what we learn without becoming overwhelmed by trying to change everything at once.

Together, Lisa and Tash explore taking manageable steps, building consistency, listening to your intuition and creating space for self-care and personal growth. They also discuss failure, community and how the people and environments around us can influence what we believe is possible.

Tash shares her 10% approach as one practical example of choosing an area to focus on, making a realistic change and building from there.

  • What Can I Do Today? A Reflection from Sydney

After two inspiring days in Sydney, Lisa returned home thinking deeply about her work, the people she supports and what she wants to do next.

In this personal episode of UNFILTERED WITH LISA, she reflects on listening to speakers including Steven Bartlett and Tony Robbins—and on the moment Tony stopped directly in front of her while speaking.

But the biggest takeaway was a simple question:

    What can I do today?

Lisa explores how easily we can become caught between looking backwards and worrying about what comes next. She also shares why meaningful change does not always begin with a dramatic decision. It may begin with one honest conversation, one boundary or one small action that moves you closer to the life you want.

  • When Food, Fitness and Control Become Consuming — with Hebe, Part Two

When does a focus on health begin to feel more like control?

Hebe returns for Part Two of her conversation with Lisa to answer audience questions about disordered eating, food noise, body image, restrictive diets and the pressure to make progress at any cost.

Drawing on their own experiences, Lisa and Hebe discuss some of the ways an apparently “healthy” routine can begin taking up too much mental space. They explore weighing, fad diets, intermittent fasting, balanced meals, recovery and what it can feel like when thoughts about food make it difficult to remain present in everyday life.

This is an open, compassionate conversation about awareness—not judgement—and recognising that asking for support does not require waiting until something feels severe.

  • It’s Never Too Late to Get Stronger with Hailey of Hailey Happens Fitness | Ep. 03

Can you build strength in midlife and beyond? And if you already walk every day, do you still need to lift weights?

Lisa is joined by Hailey, creator of Hailey Happens Fitness, for a warm and practical conversation about building and maintaining strength through midlife.

Hailey shares how a major knee operation led her away from endurance sport and towards helping people become stronger. Together, Lisa and Hailey discuss home workouts, progressive training, recovery, correct form, combining cardio with strength training and why doing more is not always better.

They also explore what it means to begin at your own level rather than comparing your routine with someone else’s—and why your body may still be capable of far more than you realise.

This episode provides general education and conversation only. Seek personalised advice from an appropriately qualified professional before beginning or changing an exercise program.

  • Secure Attachment: What Does a Secure Relationship Actually Look Like? | Attachment Series Part 4

Does being securely attached mean you never get jealous, overthink, feel insecure or struggle with conflict?

    Not at all.

In the final part of our special Attachment Series, Lisa explores secure attachment — what it can look like to experience closeness without losing yourself, communicate your needs more openly and navigate conflict without automatically fearing rejection, abandonment or disconnection.

We also look at one of the most important messages from this entire series: your attachment patterns aren't necessarily something you're stuck with forever.

Through awareness, healthier communication, boundaries, emotional regulation and experiences of safe connection, we can begin developing greater security in ourselves and our relationships.

  • Fearful Avoidant Attachment: Why Do I Want Closeness Then Pull Away? | Attachment Series Part 3

What happens when you deeply want love and connection — but part of you wants to pull away when someone gets too close?

In Part 3 of our special Attachment Series, Lisa explores fearful avoidant attachment and the push-pull that can happen when the desire for connection exists alongside a fear of vulnerability, rejection or being hurt.

We look at why someone may feel open and connected one moment and create distance the next, what may be happening beneath those reactions, and how greater awareness, communication and emotional safety can help us begin responding differently.

This isn't about putting another label on ourselves or someone else. It's about understanding our patterns with greater curiosity — while remembering that empathy for where behaviour comes from doesn't mean accepting unhealthy behaviour.

  • Dismissive Avoidant Attachment: Why Do I Pull Away? | Attachment Series Part 2

Why might someone want love and connection — but pull away when things become emotionally close?

In Part 2 of our special Attachment Series, Lisa explores dismissive avoidant attachment and why independence, self-sufficiency and the need for space can sometimes become ways of protecting ourselves from vulnerability.

We look at what may sit beneath withdrawal, why emotional conversations can feel overwhelming, and what can happen when anxious and dismissive avoidant patterns meet in a relationship.

Most importantly, this isn't about labelling someone as uncaring or excusing hurtful behaviour. It's about becoming curious about what's happening beneath the behaviour — and recognising that independence and connection don't have to be opposites.
