An unfinished project, like a deferred decision can sit around long enough that we don't even see it anymore. It becomes a distraction of unspoken items on our to-do list without us even being consciously aware of it.
In this episode I address unpainted doors that I left sitting in my house undone for years, and how it felt to finally get to that project.
What are those un-done projects doing to you emotionally? For me, everything that I pass that I haven't gotten back to yet is a silent to-do list, chanting to me. Sometimes we don't even see those unpainted doors anymore because they have been there so long...or so we think. They represent a physical reminder that something is not quite finished. When you finish those items your ability to relax in your space will increase because there is nothing left there waiting for you.
