Traumas will haunt you for the rest of your life if you allow them to. The only way to look at them differently is to learn how to heal from them. We all have different ways to cope with our traumas. The best way for me to face them is to remember what happened and just accept that it happened and let it go. However since our subconscious mind loves to remind us by playing a loop of the situation; it can be very difficult to cope with them and they become a terror when we sleep. Do not allow those traumas to affect you in your daily life. The less we worry about them the less they come back to haunt us. Only with time we will be able to heal from them, but we also must be strong minded and be patient with ourselves. Remember how far you’ve come and remember those positive thoughts that have brought you to where you are. Use Bible verses to rebuke those negative thoughts!
