When it comes to Hollywood movies, we love our happy endings - boy gets girl, good defeats evil, and everyone always lives "happily ever after..." But, unfortunately, real life doesn't work this way. Sometimes God allows us to experience an unhappy ending, as in this passage which features the martyrdom of John the Baptist. However, in spite of this, we have hope as we learn in this expository message from Matt. 14:1-12.
