This week we go a little bit off the rails and talk tattoos, some cultural and political issues within the church, and reminisce about the times when Nik and Jorde were interns together at Relevant Life Church working with Pastor Travis. Travis, along with an incredible team, started an non-profit called Excellerate Youth in the Fargo-Moorhead area focused on building skills and relationships with foster care youth in our area. After the last handful of months with Kanye making the news under less than ideal circumstances, we decided it was worth doing a follow-up episode. We discuss what we feel to be appropriate responses to Kanye, and as usual, we drifted down the rabbit trail and talked about celebrity pastors, the importance of rest (and specifically resting well).

We also took some time to listen back to our old episode. This isn't coming from a place of correcting what we said before, we stand by what was said in the past. We just know that it is worth going back and readdressing the conversation.
